Manchester City – Borussia Dortmund prediction

Given the contrasting form of the two sides heading into this one, a City victory feels like the most likely outcome. Many of their stars were rested at the weekend and they should be close to their imperious best.

Despite possessing a striker who has scored 33 goals in 32 games this season in Haaland, Dortmund have struggled for consistency throughout this campaign. While they’re a dangerous opponent, they may struggle to cope with City’s dominating nature.

Only the brave would back the hosts to keep a clean sheet against the Norwegian’s side but the Premier League giants are still strong favourites.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-1 Borussia Dortmund
